beauty bomb.

By this point, we have all heard of the wonders of the beauty balm. This formula is a thicker coverage than most tinted moisturizers but not quite as heavy as a liquid foundation. I've been playing around with a few different brands and thought I would share my thoughts!
What beauty balms have you tried and liked/disliked?

Garnier Fructis :
For around $12 , this product is great coverage and lightweight. Available in two shades (light/medium or medium/deep), I found this product to be fairly greasy after a few hours of wearing. Besides that, it blended amazingly well!

Too Faced :
This one was a little higher priced, in the $20 range. I thought this was another great, lightweight coverage. With more color options, I found it easier to match my skin tone a little better and look more natural.

Smashbox :
This product was priced similarly to the Too Faced brand but had a few more color options. Though it was the best coverage, I did feel like it was a little drying for my skin. The perk of this is that it stayed matte throughout the day!

distance.

I must admit that the trials of being in a long distance relationship can be extremely exhausting. Whether you are two hours or twelve from your mate, it is not an easy situation. I am currently only a few short hours from my boyfriend but I find it extremely hard for us to find free time to talk during the week - which brings us to the all to common argument of us ours being a "weekend relationship".
Last night I stumbled upon a website made specifically for distance relationships and have had a great time flipping through some of their ideas. Can't wait to share them with you and with my boo :)
